Position 1: IT Business Analyst
Qualifications:
- A degree in science, computer science, engineering, or a related business field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a broad technical area, including databases, applications, infrastructure, cloud, development, enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, and system design.
Professional Experience:
- Experience in business analysis, preferably with certifications such as CBAP or IIBA.
- Experience in software development lifecycle, including agile (SAFe, Scrum) and waterfall methodologies.
Skills Required:
- A methodical approach with a proven track record in designing and delivering complex technical roadmaps.
- Understanding of working with third-party suppliers.
- Ability to persuade stakeholders and promote effective techniques through successful delivery.
- Ability to drive initiatives without having formal authority in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to guide and teach others in architecture principles.
- Working knowledge of all domains in telecommunications, including VAS, charging, CRM, and digital services.

Position 2: Digital & Financial Services Audit Manager
Qualifications:
- An upper second-class degree in technology or a related business course from a recognized university.
- Professional qualifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA, ACCA, CRISC, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have been serving in a current Safaricom role for a minimum of 12 months.
- Employees must complete all assigned training courses to be considered for promotion.
Employees are encouraged to discuss their career goals with their line managers when applying for vacant positions.
Candidates may apply for roles at the same level (a lateral move to a different function) or one level higher (the next immediate higher level).
It should be noted that promotions (band increments) may result in changes to financial rewards.
However, lateral moves only affect the job title and reporting structure.

Position 3: Program Manager: Network Deployment
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in project or program management.
- PMP certification or similar is an advantage.
- Experience in telecom rollout or related technology infrastructure projects, including telecom network and power solutions.
- In-depth understanding of telecom power and network components.
- Knowledge of power and TI connection procedures, permits, and integration with telecom infrastructure.
- Familiarity with electrical safety codes for telecom site deployments.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar for reporting, data visualization, and performance analysis.
- Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, vendors, and contractors.
