The former Akaki Steel Industry and later Kaliti Steel Industry currently known as Tsehay Industry S.C. Kaliti Metal Products Factory set up shop in 1968 by an Italian named Signor Riso Sprado and other share holders for 500,000 birr capital initially the area of the plant had been 130,050 square meters of land.
The staff number stood at 50 at the time of establishment with a good deal of the specialized work carried out by foreigners Italians with the original work force engaged mostly in homemade labor activities. At the time of establishment the factory produced round, square and rectangle pipes, Secco door and window frames and Ega sheets for roofing and wall cladding.
Position 1: Cost and Budget Accountant
Education and Work Experience A Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance/ Accounting/ Finance from a recognized university/ college with 0 years of work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance/ Accounting/ Finance from a recognized university/ college with 2 years of work experience and training in International Financial Reporting System/ IFRS and accounting software usage is preferred.
Position 2: General Ledger Accountant
Education and Work Experience A Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance/ Accounting/ Finance from a honored university/ council with 0 years of work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Account and Finance/ Accounting/ Finance from a honored university/ council with 2 years of work experience and training in International Financial Reporting System/ IFRS and accounting software usage is preferred.
