United Nations Economic Commission for Africa( UNECA) invitations qualified applicants for the coming job positions. Position 1 Executive Assistant, G- 6  

Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

The minimum number of years of applicable experience is reduced to five years for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or advanced. 

Work Experience A minimum of seven( 7) years of experience in executive work, conference servicing, general office support, or related areas is required. 

Experience in filing and utilizing office gear is required. 

Experience working for elderly officials in a transnational group is desirable.  

Within delegated authority, the executive Assistant might be responsible for the  ensuing duties

Initiate, review, process, and follow up on actions related to the administration of the section’s/ unit’s human resource activities,e.g., recruitment of staff and advisers, placement, promotion, relocation, performance appraisal, job classification opinions, separation of workers members, training, etc., guaranteeing consistency within the utility of UN guidelines and procedures.  

Language English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the place marketed, fluency in English is required; and knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of another  sanctioned United Nations language is an advantage.  

Position 2 Programme Management Assistant, G- 6  

Education High school diploma or equivalent is required.  

Work Experience At least seven( 7) years of experience in programme or project administration, specialized cooperation or related space is required. The  minimal times of applicable experience is reduced to 5( 5) years for candidates who possess a first- level university degree or lesser. Practical One year or  undant of expertise in data analytics or related space is desirable. Experience in executive services,  mortal resources, or related space is desirable.  This position is in the Office of the Chief, Publication and Conference Management Section( PCMS), and the Publication, Conference and Knowledge Management Division( PCKMD). The Programme Management Assistant will work under the final supervision of the Director of PCKMD and the direct supervision of the Chief of the Section.  Language English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the publish advertised, fluency in oral and spoken English is required. Knowledge of one other sanctioned United Nations language is a bonus.
