Job Summery
Basic Functions
The Project Management Specialist is a senior expert specialized in working in the areas of macroeconomic and microeconomic (agriculture, food security, natural coffers), programs, and learning, monitoring, and evaluation of food and agriculture development programs. The jobholder will be an expert in aggregate and sector policy review, analysis and reporting; development and communication of new strategies to stakeholders; analysis of macro- andmicro-economic dynamics, review of request system approaches, and coordination of research designs and perpetration. The incumbent supports USAID, other donor and host country
profitable growth and assistance programs by developing strategies, logical models, and methodologies; assaying data; and furnishing
backing and advice on profitable growth issues.
Employs advantageous analyses, similar as inclusive growth individual/ constraints analysis, and insights deduced from them to provide guidance to the Mission Leadership for opinions about allocation of resources across sectors
Job Requirement
Qualification & work experience
A minimum of master’s degree in agrarian economics, agrarian extension, economics, food security, pastoral development, statistics, or applicable field of studies A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in food and agriculture systems development, profitable and policy analysis and strategic planning, program management, collaboration with and/ or working for a large governmental association, patron organizations, the host country government, or other related organizations is required

Salary Range The salary range of the position is FSN- 11;$ 26,638 –$ 47,950 yearly, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr
