The United States Government, represented by theU.S. Agency for International Development( USAID/ Ethiopia), is seeking offers from good persons to provide particular services under contract as described in the attached CCNPSC solicitation for USAID Project Management Specialist (Health Systems Strengthening) position – solicitation number 72066323R10005.
Position Project Management
Specialist Education Master of Public Health or Social Science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Human Resource Management or Master of Finance. MD preferred but not required.
Experience 5- 7 years of progressively responsible experience working in the Ethiopian public or private health system in Health Systems Strengthening in one or further of the ensuing areas
• Program management, policy and strategy development is required.
• Minimum of two years Staff supervision experience is required.
• Experience working with the Ethiopian Government, USG health agencies and/ or USAID implementing partners is preferred but not required,
• Specialized knowledge and experience in Health Systems Strengthening, Performance Based Backing, Health Policy and/ or Health Insurance schemes in the context of Public Health is preferred.
Language English and Amharic at Level IV. Fluency in one other Ethiopian language is preferred.
MARKET VALUE$ 29,075 –$ 52,355 monthlye., original to FSN – 12. In accordance with AIDAR Appendix J and the Original Compensation Plan of USAID/ Ethiopia.
Final compensation will be negotiated within the listed market value. Salary will be paid in original currency at the exchange rate in effect when the payroll is processed.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE US Embassy, Entoto Road, Addis Ababa, with possible travel as stated in the Statement of Duties.
