Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Service Authority was set up as per proclamationNo.68/1963, in 1963E.C.(1971G.C.). In 1987E.C.( 1995G.C.) fresh powers were invested in the authority, while being reestablished with a slightly different name, i.e., Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority( AAWSA).

Evidence of work experience provided by non-governmental organizations and private organizations should be verified as to whether employment tax has been paid. The requested work experiences should be after graduation and should have a direct relationship with the separate positions. For educational evidence presented at Level, it should be accompanied by a Certificate of Professional Competence (COC).
