Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association (CCRDA) 

Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association( CCRDA) would like to invite competent and interested candidates for the ensuing position. 

Position 1: Financial and Logistics Officer 

Job Summary 
Plans, organizes, and coordinates the overall fiscal functions of the GAVI CSO Funds; ensures implementation of CCRDA’S financial policies, systems, and procedures and revises those when required. Ensures that CORE Group Partners Project activities in the area of finance follow the organizational values, principles, procedures, and guidelines adopted by the association.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities 
Ensures all payments to and by the organization are effected by the  fiscal guidelines of the organization; 
Check all disbursement documents are correct and true before payment takes place. 
Enter the proper account code for each transaction (all payment vouchers, all journals, and all bills) as per the chart of accounts of the Organization. 
Ensures that all the fiscal documents related to project funding are up to date and in line with according to CCRDA, and GAVI regulations. 
Follow strictly the settlement of advances and other receivables of the Organization. 
Ensures the financial statements about granted funds are in line with accepted principles. 
Advises and assists member organizations in the effective management of granted funds. 
Acknowledge advance payments pending further than permissible settlement periods to the immediate supervisor for action. 
Help in preparing periodic budgets, coordinating accounts, and preparing reports. 
Compiles and sorts documents, similar to invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions. 
Check additions, account codes, and payments made by the project as per the project proposals and check whether it's as per the budget. Prepares and submits periodical financial reports to management and other concerned bodies including donors; 
Ensure the organization's financial manual is strictly followed. 
Keeps records of bank checkbooks and cash receipts and issues. 
Assist external auditors during their review. 
Represent the Finance Officer in the absence of a senior FO. 
Participates in force-taking as and when required. 
Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirement 
Preferred Qualifications Experiences 
First degree in finance or accounting from a recognized University or College 
At least five( 5) years of applicable work experience especially working in Gavi, USAID, and other donor-funded projects. 
Interpersonal skills 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Demonstrating  particular integrity and trustworthiness 
Knowledge of Program/ Project conditioning Management, 
Highly self-motivated and able to handle demanding workload 
Planning, time management, and presentation skills

Organizational skills 
Special training – Peachtree, Quick Book, and other applicable training 
Duty Station Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the project areas 

Position 2: National Program Officer 

Job Summary 
The National Program Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of the Gavi CSO Project by supporting partners at every stage of the project cycle. This includes appraising partner projects to assess their alignment with objectives, preparing and comprehensive narrative reports. The officer is also responsible for conducting training sessions, leading mentorship and monitoring efforts, and managing data collection and analysis to inform decision-making. By providing harmonious guidance and specialized support, the National Program Officer contributes to the effective execution, monitoring, and evaluation of implementing partners to achieve the project’s goals. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities 
Prepare and submit work plans (periodic and daily) and apply consequently 
Provide backstopping service to augment the capacities of the partner organizations and woreda health office, 
Give status updates for applicable stakeholders on the performance of project implementation, 
Organize and conduct trainings for partners and communities, and conduct follow-up 
Scrutinize, conduct office reviews,pre-funding assessment visits, and appraisal of projects, 
Discuss and decide with partners to determine fund requirements and  popular limitations for budget  variations 
Facilitate the releasing of approved funds timely to partner organizations, 
Establish databases for data analysis of the assigned supervision area, 
Conduct the daily common probative supervision sessions and backstopping services in the project areas and provide oral and Witten feedback at all levels, 
Provide specialized support to the woreda health office and health facilities on Polio Eradication, routine immunization, and disease surveillance activities 
Attend EPI and surveillance review meetings at Indigenous, zonal, woreda, and community  position 
Prepare periodic narrative reports and submit them to M&E and  benefactors, 
Provide feedback on reports for the  mate associations on time 
Participate and provide the required backing during NID/ SNID campaigns and big catch-up campaigns 
Represent CORE Group Ethiopia in different forums when it's required 
Brief regularly about the status of the project and submit written activity reports to the CORE Ethiopia Director, 
Contribute articles for CGPP daily newsletter and journal club 
Facilitate cross-border meetings and attend periodic cross-border review meetings 
Undertake any other duty requested by the CORE Group Ethiopia Director. 

Job Requirement 
Preferred Qualifications Experiences 
BSc with MPH or MSc and/ or MD with Post Graduate Degree in MPH or MSc from a recognized University or college. 
At least seven( 7) years of proven experience on EPI from  public to community levels 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Demonstrating  particular integrity and trustworthiness 
Knowledge of Program/ Project activities Management, 
Highly self-motivated and able to handle demanding workload 
Planning, time management, and presentation skills 
Organizational skills 
Special training –Mid-Level Management, IIP, Leadership, team building and effective communication 
Duty Station Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the project areas
