The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the ensuing position.

Position 1: Human Rights Officer, Transitional Justice
Qualifications and Experience
LLM/LLB degree in law, human rights law, international law, transitional justice, conflict studies, peace and security, philanthropic law, or other related fields.
4 years of applicable experience for LLB and 2 years of applicable experience for LLM.
Computer knowledgeable.
Knowledge of Amharic required. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.

Position 2: IT Operations and Cloud System Engineer
Qualifications and Experience
BSC Degree in Information Technology, or related field of study
Experience: 4 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or cloud engineering. with hands-on Microsoft 365 and Azure announcements, AWS, and GCP experience.
Proven work experience as a cloud system administrator or similar role.
Experience with cloud services similar to AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
complete understanding of cloud computing technologies, business trends, and performance standards.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies.

Position 3: Human Rights Education Officer
Qualifications and Experience
MA/LLM in Human Rights Law, International Law, or Public Law applicable to Human Rights Conflict Studies or Studies of Peace and Security.
Applicants with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) but with exceptional experience can be considered
4 years of applicable experience for LLB and 2 years of applicable experience for Mama/LLM.
Strong exploration, jotting, and editing chops. Proficiency in educational design principles and familiarity with human rights issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Computer knowledgeable.
Knowledge of Amharic is needed. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.

Position 4: Senior Human Rights Officer, Transitional Justice
Qualifications and Experience
LLM/MA in Human Rights, International Law, and other public laws applicable to human rights, international justice, conflict studies, peace and security, humanitarian law, or other related fields.
Strong specialized understanding of international human rights and/or humanitarian law principles;
Candidates with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) but with exceptional experience can be considered.
5 years of applicable experience for LLM
Experiences directly related to mortal rights and transitional justice
Computer knowledgeable.
Knowledge of Amharic and English is required.
Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.

Position 5: Specialized Cloud Support Engineer
Qualifications and Experience
BSC Degree in Information Technology, or related field of study
Experience 4 years of experience in specialized support, cloud administration, or IT operations.
Customer-facing experience in troubleshooting and resolving specialized issues
Proven work experience as a cloud system administrator or related role.
Experience with cloud services similar to AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Computer knowledgeable.
Knowledge of Amharic is required.
Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.

Position 6: Cloud Systems Administrator/MS365 Administrator
Qualification and Experience
Education: BSC Degree in Information Technology, or related field of study
Experience 4 years in cloud systems administration, with hands-on Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, AWS, and GCP experience.
Proven work experience as a cloud system administrator or analogous role.
Experience with cloud services similar to AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Qualification and Experience
Education: BSC Degree in Information Technology, or related field of study
Experience: 4 years of experience in network security, cloud security, or cybersecurity engineering.
Proven track record of securing hybrid surroundings (on-premises cloud).
Experience working in enterprise IT environments with complex infrastructures.
Other Requirements
Computer knowledgeable.
Knowledge of Amharic is required.
Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous

Position 8: Senior Project Accountant/Finance Officer
Qualifications and Experience
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance
6 years of applicable experience
Experience and knowledge of IFMIS and IFRIS are required
Experience working with colorful donors is a plus
Experience working with EU projects is advantageous.
Computer knowledgeable
Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.
