Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C is a transformed marketable Microfinance institutionS.C initially established according to proclamationno.40/96 and recently revised proclamation626/2009 issued by National Bank Of Ethiopia to provide financial andnon-financial services to Medium, Small Enterprise and the low income people, particularly women, at both civic and pastoral areas of Ethiopia. The institution is looking to recruit a competent applicant for the following Job vacancy.  

Position 1 Branch Internal Audit  

Qualification BA Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Finance or Equivalent Combination of Education.  

Years Of Experience  

  • 2 years of experience in internal auditing.  

Competencies  

  • Familiarity with MFI industry’s rules and regulations  

  • Excellent organizational skills  Competencies  

  • Good planning, experience in internal auditing  

  • Demonstrated Leadership ability to inspire and empower others  

  • Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner  

  • Good skills in the use of computer application  

  • Problem solving skills  

Duty Station Addis Ababa and Butajira  

Position 2 Building Administrator  

Qualification BA Degree in Management Or Equivalent Combination of Education.  

Years Of Experience  

Experience  • 2 years of experience in Building Administrator.  

  • Familiarity with Building Administration rules and regulations  

  • Excellent organizational skills  

Competencies  

  • Good planning, experience in Building Administrator  

  • Demonstrated Leadership ability to inspire and empower others  

  • Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner  

  • Good skills in the use of computer application  

  • Problem solving skills  

Duty Station Adama  

Position 3 Risk Management and Compliance Service  

Education/ TrainingB.A. degree in Accounting & finance, management and other related fields of study.  

Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in any financial Company or related organization.  

Competencies  

  • Demonstrated specialized ability, ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels;  

  • Firm belief in teamwork and gender equality;  

  • Basic computer skills  

  • Excellent written and oral communication chops.  

Duty station Addis Ababa  

Position 4 Legal Officer  

Education/ Training LLB Degree/ Diploma in Law  

Experience  

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience  

  • Familiarity with MFI industry’s rules and regulations  

  • Excellent organizational skills  

Competencies  

  • suitable to communicate and good presentation skill.  

  • Good knowledge of the court system and procedures, legal ethics.  

  • Ability to interpret, analyse and solve problems.  

  • Ability to act in professional and ethical manner.
