SAMANU is a platform company with well- established brands operating in Ethiopia’s main FMCGsub-sectors (Tena Edible Oils, 555 and Aura Soap & Detergents, and Chef Luca wheat products). The investment by Norfund will fund the construction of a new solvent extraction plant to produce comestible oils based on locally sourced sesame, sunflower and soya beans in its refineries. By reducing the dependency on imported raw materials, the investment aims to create jobs in value- addition and increase Ethiopia’s food security. The completion of a perpendicular integration project will also allow for increased export opportunities within the sectors the company already operates.
Currently SAMANU imports raw sunflower oil, mostly from Eastern Europe, and refines and packages it locally. With the new investment, it'll construct a solvent extraction plant that will allow it to produce raw oil from locally- grown sunflowers. In addition, the company will also extract oil from domestically- produced soya beans and sesame.
Position Order Booker
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• BA Degree graduate/ Diploma in sales, Marketing and Business Management.
Experience • 0 – Two years of experience in FMCG industry.
The purpose of the Order Booker is to collect order, ensure availability and visibility. upholding the company reputation at all times. Implement sales fundamentals to ensure core distribution
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for visiting shops market of assign areas as per PJP and generate order.
• Establish, make and maintain good working relationship with customers( existing and new);
• Services being guests, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing diurnal work schedule to call on existing or implicit sales outlets;
• To documents sale by creating or updating client profile records.
• To identify & develop possible Leads and Channels.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and implicit volume of customers;
• Ensure stock delivery to the outlets as per the given order
• Monitors competition by gathering current business information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, and other trade offeringsetc.;
• Contributes to team effort by ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded;
• Understand and support the company’s Route To Market strategy and ensure its effective implementation
• Ability to use mobile application for sales information
• Assist customers and Key Distributors to gain their orders;
• To achieve yearly sales target assigned to him her
• Development of visibility in outlet and in trade as per thre company standard;
• Establish good and professional relationship with the customers and provide them better services as per the company policies.
• Must have passion to accept challenges and targets
• Carry out other tasks not specified in the below responsibilities as assigned by advanced officials.
