SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is an international non-governmental group and a member of SOS Children’s Villages International Federation. We began our humanitarian work in Ethiopia with the opening of our first Village in Mekelle, the Northern part of Ethiopia in 1974. Since then, we’ve expanded our applications to completely different areas place there are important wants for intervention and the places we consider we will work in partnership with all related actors to deliver sustainable optimistic outcomes for kids and young individuals. Today, we’ve grown significantly to satisfy the patient challenges that confront Ethiopian kids who have misplaced maternal care and people who are at risk of shedding their maternal care. Working in shut collaboration with worldwide benefactors, native authorities, and group-based mostly associations throughout seven program locations; we aspire that every youth grows up with love, respect, and safety.

Position 2 Project MHPSS Coordinator  

Job Requirements 

Must Criteria o MA, Degree, BA, Degree or original qualification in psychology, sociology, social work, or related. 

• Minimum of 3/5 years related work expertise as MHPSS Project Coordinator o Who has experience in coordinating Trauma healing/ counseling middle
• Who has certificates in MHPSS/ Trauma healing gift guiding 
• Experience in project management, monitoring, and analysis. 
• Excellent command of English languages and good communication expertise, together with both written and verbal. rather fluent within the language( s) spoken in the program’s goal communities. 
• Positive{ and professional} strategy extremely organized, able to work independently, using initiative and maintaining commitments, main a team; 
• Good data on children’s rights. 
• Awareness and understanding of social development points including gender, education, health, HIV/ AIDS, etc.
• Basic financial expertise.

• Education BSc degree in Psychology, Social work, Nursing, and Sociology or associated subject with at least Four years of counseling, Trauma  remedial, and social work experience at an NGO 
• Who have the expertise of working in the trauma healing course of 
• Who has experience in play remedy companies or practices 
• Who has a certificate in MHPSS training/ Trauma healing talent coaching 
• Experience At least Three times of expertise in MHPSS/ Trauma healing apply/ comforting or working with extremely weak  kiddies who misplaced their parents or are  lonely 
• Experience in community-based child safety approaches 
• Experience and ability to work in  philanthropic  or emergency context
