SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is a transnational non-governmental organization and a member of SOS Children’s Villages International Federation. We started our humanitarian work in Ethiopia with the opening of our first Village in Mekelle, the Northern part of Ethiopia in 1974. Since then, we've expanded our programs to different regions where there are significant requirements for intervention and where we believe we can work in partnership with all applicable actors to bring sustainable positive outcomes for children and youthful people. 

Position 1: ToR for conducting a baseline study of Woliso Educare design. 

Education A/ BSc in Entrepreneurship, Inclusive Business, Business Administration, Education, curriculum, and related field of studies 
Experience A minimum of 3 years of former experience in youth care & development, education, Work experience in education, social work, or community development is desired. 
Work experience in designing curriculum and training materials for  young people, Commitment to the principles of inclusive approaches to programming encourages full participation of  individualities anyhow of gender, disability status,  race, religion, sexual  exposure, gender identity or other marginalized status, Understanding of public youth policy and employability, Track record in easing training, understanding of gender-inclusive projects and, Experience in working with the target group, Youth, and applicable stakeholders 

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 
Proven track record in employability skills development in systems of a related nature, preferably in transnational development organizations on the following themes Training facilitation skills, Entrepreneurship/ private sector development; inclusive business/  request-grounded models, multiple stakeholder facilitation, public-private hookups and innovative results( digital,  indirect frugality. 
Demonstrated experience in managing capacity structure programs; background in training preferred. 
Visionary and entrepreneurial attitude; exploring and developing innovative approaches that appeal to pastoral and civic/peri-urban youth and women are considered an advantage. 
Excellent networking skills; ability to engage with the public and private sectors, as well as civil society.

Position 2: Project Officer Education in extremities Midega Tola 

Must Criteria 
BA/ BED in Education, Education Planning and Management, Community Development, Psychology, or other social science fields related to the position. 
A certificate of introductory computer skills is required. 
Minimum of 4 years working experience in the education sector. 
Sound knowledge of ICT and specialized skills in computers 
NGO experience will be an advantage. 
Experience in handling education in emergency projects. 
Good specialized and report writing skills. 
Good communication and interpersonal skills 
Fluent spoken and written English, Arabic, and Afaan Oromo language is a plus. 
Ability to meet to perform her/ his activities within a short period 
Computer knowledgeable with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Knowledge of philanthropic intervention activities in IDP settings and drought-affected areas. 
Knowledge of child protection interventions 
Sensitive to gender and addition in education in  extremities 
Holds a valid motorbike driving license, enabling safe and dependable transportation for fieldwork or other applicable activities.
