The charity was established in 1962 by the grand Children of the late Emperor Haile Selassie and with specialized support of Captain Leonard Cheshire. CE is a original independent NGO, staffed by Ethiopians and registered as an Ethiopian Resident Charity, while playing a commanding role in physical rehabilitation of person with disability mainly children in Ethiopia.
Position 1: Junior Speech Therapist
Educational Qualification
BSC degree in speech therapy
Experience
0 year Under the general supervision of the manager the inferior occupational Therapist is responsible for treatment and assessment of children with disabilities (CWDs); reassessment of CWDs of assistant rehabilitation workers on daily base; advice parents and caregivers to carry out occupational therapy at home; write prescription for assistive devices and medical referral in collaboration withMulti-disciplinary team( MDT). Trains assistant rehabilitation workers in acquiring introductory skills and knowledge in occupational remedy. Updates and uploades data of CWDsin the data system.

Position 2: Junior Occupational therapist

0 years’ experience Under the general supervision of the manager, the receptionist- secretary is responsible to receive all clients’ direct services category and prepare primary documents and files; clients’bio-data on the files for the services provider. Perform secretariat services as required.

0 times’ experience Under the general supervision of the A.A RC manager, the Junior Physiotherapist is responsible for treating and assessing of children with disabilities (CWDs) and advising parents to do home experimental activities, writes prescriptions for appliances and medical referral to other hospitals or institutions the administration of physical therapy treatment to patients, trains mothers in acquiring skills, writes a yearly performance report.

Position 4: Senior Physiotherapist

6 years experience Under the general supervision of the manager, the senior physiotherapist is responsible for treatment and assessment of children with disabilities( CWDs); reassesses CWDs of assistant rehabilitation workers on daily base; trains mothers and caregivers to empower and advocate on right of their children; writes prescription for assistive devices and medical referral in collaboration withmulti-disciplinary team( MDT). Organizes refresher training for assistant rehabilitation workers. Supervises and supports assistant rehabilitation workers. Updates and uploads data of CWDs in the data system.
