Save The Children
Save the Children is a transnational philanthropic, child-centered, development association, without religious, political, or governmental cooperation. In 1920, the International Save the Children Union was founded in Geneva by two organizations, together with several other bodies working for children – some using the Save the Children name or an original variant. Over the years, Save the Children Members were created around the world, embodying Eglantyne and Dorothy’s vision. Today, Save the Children and its 30 member associations work to deliver change for children in around 120 countries. The organization delivers its programs internationally to achieve the topmost possible impact for children. It has a small center and seven indigenous services.
